Our Story

Bow River Solutions was founded in 2005 by Oscar Cruz and Jen Cruz Hamlin on the belief that business intelligence solutions should be easy and accessible to all organizations.

With successful careers working in data science for large organizations, Oscar and Jen decided to branch out on their own and founded Bow River Solutions.

A little more about uS

Now a growing team of 15+ professionals, Bow River Solutions has a successful track record delivering data projects small and large for clients across multiple industries including construction, oil & gas, public sector, financial services, and manufacturing. We specialize in data management, business intelligence, predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation. 

Taking a client-first approach by offering vendor agnostic, end-to-end solutions is a key component to our success. Solutions are individualized to help clients solve their most pressing business challenges, ranging from pre-built applications to custom software development. We partner with industry-leading vendors including IBM, Microsoft, Tableau, Minitab, Denodo, and VKS. With a talented and diverse team of experts, support can be offered to clients across multiple time zones in three languages (English, French, Spanish).  

As certified experts in data management, we offer instruction through accredited Canadian Universities and Colleges including University of Calgary, UBC Sauder School of Business, Bow Valley College, and SAIT. Bow River Solutions also offers custom courses for enterprise clients and on-demand learning modules.
